Kremlin's plan to introduce rouble in Kherson region foiled by local resistance
The refusal of Ukrainians to cooperate with the occupation authorities in the territories temporarily captured by Russia creates massive issues for the invaders.
That’s according to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
Three branches of the Russian Promsvyazbank failed to launch branches in Kherson region after the local bank staffers denied job offers, which thwarted the Kremlin's plans to switch to payments in Russian roubles.
Despite intimidation, the majority of teachers at the temporarily occupied areas also refuse to cooperate with the invaders, which forces Russia to deploy Crimea-based teachers in the area to compensate for staff shortages in schools.
Also, in Mariupol, the Russian "administration" offers humanitarian aid to locals in return for agreeing to demine the territory and clear rubble.
Due to uncooperative stance of Ukrainian medics in Luhansk region, the Russian authorities are forced to bring in doctors from Russia’s Novosibirsk and Volgograd.
In addition, the occupation authorities are forced to transfer Russian government officials to new positions in the occupation "administrations" and fill vacancies at Ukrainian enterprises with Russians.
