Ukrainian air defense soldiers down Russian Ptero drone – Air Command Center
Soldiers of an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Command Center have shot down a Russian Ptero drone.
Ukraine's Air Command Center said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, on July 31, soldiers of an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Command Center of the Air Force, performing combat missions in the designated area, shot down another unmanned aerial vehicle, probably of the Ptero type, with a well-aimed shot. It visually resembles an Orlan-10," the statement said.
The UAV was supposed to carry out reconnaissance in order to correct enemy fire.
On July 26, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a Russian Lancet kamikaze drone.
