Russia hits Odesa region with Iskander missiles launched from Crimea

The Russian aggressors fired two Iskander missiles on Odesa region from the temporarily occupied Crimea. No casualties have been reported.

“Odesa region was attacked with two Iskander missiles fired from the temporarily occupied Crimea. The explosion of missiles in the air caused so-called heat traps over the territory of Odesa district," Vladyslav Nazarov, Spokesperson for the Operational Command "South", posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, these traps look like an unexploded projectile or are shaped like a dart with an orange tail. It is quite a dangerous thing as it has a high burning temperature and can cause large-scale burns.

Nazarov clarified that several such traps led to the burning of dry grass. Rescue services respond promptly, putting out fires.

No casualties have been reported, he added.
