Ukrainian army retakes two villages in eastern Ukraine
Ukrainian forces have liberated two villages in eastern Ukraine in the last week.
Oleksii Hromov, deputy chief of the main operational department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform.
"During the week, our troops improved their tactical position and advanced deep into the enemy's defense lines outside the settlements of Mazanivka, Brashkivka, Sulyhivka and Dmytrivka. They liberated two settlements - Mazanivka and Dmytrivka," he said.
Earlier reports said that Russian invaders are attempting to keep control of occupied areas in southern Ukraine and are preparing for counteroffensive operations to advance to the administrative border of the Kherson region.
