Nearly 800 civilians evacuated Donetsk region on Aug 4 – State Emergency Service
Almost 800 civilians received assistance and evacuated the Donetsk region in the past day.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region said this in a Facebook post.
"During the evacuation at the railway station in the city of Pokrovsk, the staff of the Main Directorate provided assistance to 725 people, including 85 children and seven people with physical disabilities," the report says.
According to the report, rescuers evacuated 17 people from the Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts over the past day.
During the evacuation in the city of Toretsk, 33 people, including 11 children, received assistance from the staff of the State Emergency Service.
Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk earlier announced the beginning of mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region. The first evacuation train arrived in Kropyvnytskyi early on August 2.
