Russians killed 132 civilians in Mykolaiv since start of full-scale invasion

In Mykolaiv, 132 civilians have been killed, including a child, and 619 more have been injured since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale war, as a result of shelling, 132 residents of Mykolaiv have died (including one child), 619 have received injuries of various degrees of severity (including 8 children)," the report reads.

The amount of damage caused to Mykolaiv due to Russia's armed aggression reaches almost UAH 790 million.

Since February 24, Russian shelling of the city has damaged more than 500 multi-storey buildings (of which 30% have been repeatedly damaged) and about 700 private houses (more than 70 completely destroyed). In addition to residential buildings, 209 facilities in Mykolaiv have been damaged, including 49 educational institutions, 44 municipal facilities, 20 cultural institutions, 17 health care institutions, 15 sports facilities, 4 social protection institutions, 60 others facilities (shops, pharmacies, private enterprises, etc.).
