Death toll in Russian missile strike on Nikopol district grows to 13
Two more people, injured in Russian missile strike on the Nikopol district, died in Marhanets hospital.
Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Two people, wounded in nighttime enemy shelling, died in the Marhanets hospital. The doctors fought, but could not save them...,” he wrote.
At the moment, the Russian strike on the Nikopol district took the lives of 13 civilians. 11 were injured, 5 of them are in serious condition, Reznichenko said.
As Ukrinform reported, the enemy struck the Nikopol district twice from Grad MLRS, firing 80 rockets at residential neighbourhoods. More than 20 apartment buildings, an administrative services center, a palace of culture, a dormitory, two schools, a building of the town council, and several other administrative premises were damaged.
The power line was broken. Several thousand Marhanets residents have been left without electricity.
