Ukrainian forces struck bridge over dam in Nova Kakhovka

On August 12, Ukrainian defenders struck a road bridge over the dam in Nova Kakhovka, which was used by the invaders.

The spokesperson of the Operational Command South announced this, Ukrinform reports.

On August 12, the Ukrainian aviation launched five strikes on strongholds and accumulations of weapons and equipment in the Bashtanka, Beryslav and Kherson districts.

Soldiers of the Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit the road bridge over the dam in Nova Kakhovka. From now on, the occupiers will no longer be able to use it for its intended purpose.

Overall, the command said that losses for Russia on Friday also included the death of 46 invaders and the destruction of 15 armored vehicles.

It is noted that 11 Russian ships and boats remain in the Black Sea, including two Kalibr-type missile carriers and one large amphibious assault ship.

Earlier, Kherson Regional Council deputy Serhii Khlan announced the destruction of this bridge. According to him, this is the last crossing in the region that could be used to transport equipment.
