Russian troops again shell Kharkiv

Russian troops have struck the Kyiv district of Kharkiv city.

Ihor Terekhov, the head of the Kharkiv City Council, said in a Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.

"Shelling of the Kyiv district. According to preliminary data, no one was injured, there were no victims. There is no information about the destruction of any facilities," the mayor wrote.

He also recommended that Kharkiv residents do not ignore air raid alerts.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of August 12 into 13, the Russian forces struck Kharkiv twice - Slobidskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts came under attack.
