Sixth evacuation train brings people to Kirovohrad region
The sixth evacuation train has brought residents of the Donetsk region to the Kirovohrad region.
According to Ukrinform, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said this in a Telegram post.
"Evacuation trains from the east continue to arrive in the Kirovohrad region. We met already the sixth such train. This time the displaced persons are welcomed by the Svitlovodsk community," Tymoshenko wrote.
According to him, residents of the Donetsk region were also accepted by Kropyvnytskyi, Oleksandriia, Petrove, Kompaniivka, Znamianka, and Mala Vyska. "Over 1,200 people found themselves in the Kirovohrad region because of the war," he added.
On August 2, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to introduce the mandatory evacuation of the population from the Donetsk region. The first train arrived in Kropyvnytskyi early August 2.
