Enemy shell falls near apartment building in Kharkiv region
The police have opened a criminal investigation into the night shelling of the village of Slobozhanske, Chuhuiv District, Kharkiv region.
The press service of Ukraine's National Police said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
On August 14, at 01:20, the police department received a report about artillery shelling of the village.
One of the shells fell near an apartment building and damaged the windows of the apartments and about 15 private cars.
The second shell fell near a critical infrastructure facility.
Investigators are inspecting the scene, removing the fragments of the shell, and documenting war crimes against the civilian population.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
