Ukrainian defense forces confirm strike on Antonivka Bridge
Ukraine's Armed Forces have launched another strike on the Antonivka Bridge in the Kherson region.
Nataliia Humeniuk, head of the joint coordination press center of the Southern Defense Forces, reported this during a nationwide telethon, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The Antonivka Bridge was struck again in order to secure its status as impassable," Humeniuk said.
She added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to keep transport and logistics routes in the temporarily occupied areas "under fire control."
According to Humeniuk, at the moment, on the right bank of the Dnipro River near Kherson, the passage of heavy equipment and the transportation of ammunition "is complicated to the point of impossibility."
She added that the leadership of Russian units - from armies to battalions - is now using the remains of transport routes for evacuation to the left bank of the Dnipro River.
