Russian shelling of Voznesensk: Nine wounded, including four children
On Saturday, Russian invaders shelled the city of Voznesensk in Mykolaiv region, hitting a five-storey residential building and private houses: nine people were injured, including four children.
Vitaliy Kim, the head of the regional military administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, the rashists shelled the city of Voznesensk. A five-storey building and private houses were struck. As of 13:00, there is information about seven injured people, including three children," Kim wrote.
Later, the regional governor wrote that as of 13.30, there were nine wounded, including four children aged between 3 to 17.
In turn, Hanna Zamazeyeva, the head of the regional council, stressed that there are no military facilities and there have never been any near that building.
"Our doctors from the regional children's hospital left for the scene. At the moment, two children injured in the shelling are undergoing emergency operation on the spot - in Voznesensk. The third child with serious injuries has been taken to the regional aid center," Zamazeyeva wrote.
As reported, more than 6,000 residential buildings have been damaged or destroyed in Mykolaiv region since the war began.
