Bayraktar manufacturer praises Ukrainian soldiers’ skills in operating Turkish drones
Baykar Makina, which produces Bayraktar TB2 combat drones, actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to counter Russian aggression, has been monitoring the use of their UAVs in Ukraine, noting great skills of the Ukrainian military.
That’s according to the company CEO, Haluk Bayraktar, who spoke in an interview with TSN, Ukrinform reports.
"Before the war, we had trained Ukrainian operators, so now they are skillfully using the drones. I follow their operations from the news and see their effectiveness. Of course, based on feedback from the battlefield, improvements are made. You must constantly enhance them. And because of the dynamics on the battlefield and the environment in which they operate, this work never stops. I would like to note that your operators do their best and showcase really good skills in flying drones," said Haluk Bayraktar.
The Baykar Makina CEO noted that after large-scale hostilities were unleashed in Ukraine, the awareness of the company's UAVs across the European continent increased as they have attracted public attention.
"We, as manufacturers and as friends of Ukraine, are very proud that Bayraktar TB2 has become one of your symbols. We really tried to technically support the Ukrainians, to help your military squeeze as much as possible out of these systems so that they are effective in combat," Haluk Bayraktar shared.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Baykar Makina CEO Haluk Bayraktar visited Ukraine as part of an official delegation led by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
