733 children injured by Russian troops in Ukraine

More than 733 children have been injured as a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"More than 1,110 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of August 27, 2022, the official number of children killed did not change over the past day – 377. The number of children injured increased – more than 733," the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.

It is noted that the indicated data are not final as the efforts are made to establish casualties in the areas of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, most children were affected in Donetsk region – 388, Kharkiv region – 202, Kyiv region – 116, Chernihiv region – 68, Mykolaiv region – 67, Luhansk region – 61, Kherson region – 55, Zaporizhzhia region – 42.

A total of 2,328 educational institutions were damaged in Russian strikes, 289 of them were completely destroyed.

As reported, a total of 14,134 crimes against national security were registered in Ukraine during the period of the full-scale invasion, of which 541 crimes were recorded over the past week.
