Over 40 buildings damaged in Russian rocket strike on Zaporizhzhia
In Zaporizhzhia, 40 private houses and 9 apartment blocks were damaged as a result of the night enemy strike.
"Nine apartment blocks and dozens of private houses were affected in Zaporizhzhia in the night enemy strike... Forty private houses were damaged. Unfortunately, two of them were completely destroyed," acting Zaporizhzhia mayor Anatoliy Kurtiev posted on Telegram.
In apartment blocks, the blast wave shattered windows and destroyed window frames in apartments and stairwells.
City utility workers assessed the level of damage and handed over construction film to the residents of the affected houses to cover the damage. Tomorrow, restoration works will begin in the buildings.
Earlier it was reported that the enemy hit a cottage cooperative with Kh-22 missile. The explosion was heard in different districts of the city, and the air raid siren sounded.
