Ukraine forces destroy enemy crossing across Dnipro in Kherson region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an enemy crossing over the Dnipro near the village of Lvove in Kherson region, also striking an unfinished pontoon crossing that the Russians are building under the Antonivsky Bridge.

Serhiy Khlan, Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, announced the news on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Kherson region. The crossing over the Dnipro, which the orcs were building near the village of Lvove, was destroyed by our Armed Forces," the official said.

In a comment on Espreso.TV, Khlan added that yesterday the pontoon crossing, which the invaders are erecting under the Antonivsky Bridge, using barges stolen from local entrepreneurs, was also struck.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ukrainian Army retains fire control over the enemy’s supply routes in Kherson region. Bridges over the Dnipro and the Inhulets are constantly hit by Ukrainian artillery, which make them unsuitable for the Russians to transfer heavy military equipment.

Earlier, Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, Serhiy Khlan, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered more strikes on the Antonivsky Bridge across the Dnipro River in Kherson. The invaders, in their turn, are pulling the barges down the Dnipro to erect a crossing by lining them up right under the damaged Antonivsky Bridge.

Also, the official noted that it is impossible to build a full-fledged pontoon crossing in this spot because of the strong current. Therefore, the enemy transports equipment across the river on separate pontoon segments, used as rafts that are moved with the help of powerboats attached on both sides.
