Kherson region comes under enemy artillery shelling: Casualties reported
In Kherson region, the Russian invaders shelled the town of Arkhanhelske, the villages of Olhyne, Potiomkyne, Dobrianka, and Novovoznesenske with artillery. There are casualties among local residents.
The Kherson regional police's media liaisons office wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russian occupiers do not stop shelling civilian facilities in Kherson region. The town of Arkhanhelske, the villages of Olhyne, Potiomkyne, Dobrianka, and Novovoznesenske came under enemy fire. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded people," the report says.
The police noted that as a result of the strikes, private houses and farm buildings were destroyed, some populates areas remained without electricity and water.
As reported by Ukrinform, as of August 31, 309 kidnapping cases have been recorded in Kherson regions since the beginning of the war. As many as 185 people are still in captivity.
