Hostomel almost 40% damaged by Russian invasion

The war-torn city of Hostomel in Ukraine's Kyiv region has been almost 40% damaged due to the actions of the Russian army.

Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"Hostomel is a hero city that received one of the first blows of the Rashists. It has been almost 40% damaged," Kuleba said.

He added that he held a working meeting in Gostomel to discuss the restoration of damaged buildings, including the task and progress of housing reconstruction and liquidation of other consequences of the war.
