Russia’s Kh-59 cruise missile destroyed over Mykolaiv Region
This morning the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed an enemy Kh-59 air-to-surface missile over Mykolaiv Region.
The relevant statement was made by the South Air Force Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Around 06:00 a.m., September 4, 2022, the anti-aircraft defense units of the South Air Force Command shot down a Kh-59 air-to-surface missile over Mykolaiv Region, which was fired from Russia’s Su-35 multi-role fighter,” the report states.
According to the South Air Force Command, the threat of missile strikes is remaining high.
A reminder that, on the night of September 4, 2022, Russian troops launched several missile strikes on Mykolaiv Region, having caused damage to health and educational institutions, hotel and museum.
