Active hostilities raging along 1,300-kilometer front line – Maliar
The front line is very wide and runs along 2,500 kilometers, and active hostilities are raging along the 1,300-kilometer line.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Along the 1,300-kilometer line, active hostilities are underway. In some directions and areas, we are repelling enemy attacks. In others, we are advancing, because the defense operation is a series of different measures and constant dynamics,” Maliar wrote.
In her words, as of 07:00 p.m., September 4, 2022, the events were developing according to the plan. Maliar urged the audience to check the official pages of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Operational Commands for the details.
In addition, Maliar explained why official reports came with a deliberate delay.
“Firstly, any result needs to be fixed, and then we can talk about it. Secondly, information should be made public, when the enemy no longer has a chance to change anything,” Maliar stressed.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are massively shelling and bombarding peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defense Forces, and all the Ukrainian people are effectively fighting against the Russian invasion and inflicting heavy losses on Russian troops.
