Ukraine Army knocks enemy out of their positions in Kramatorsk direction – General Staff
The Ukrainian military have repelled enemy attempts to conduct offensive operations near nine settlements in eastern Ukraine. In addition, they knocked Russian troops out of their positions in the Kramatorsk direction.
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In general, Russian troops continue to focus efforts to establish full control over Donetsk Region, hold the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson Region, Kharkiv Region, Zaporizhzhia Region and Mykolaiv Region. The threat of air and missile strikes on Ukraine’s military and civil infrastructure is persisting. In the Black Sea, enemy missile carriers equipped with Kalibr-type cruise missiles are remaining combat ready.
“Over the past day, the enemy launched over 40 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and over 25 air strikes aimed at Ukrainian military and civil infrastructure facilities,” the General Staff noted.
Russian troops launched air strikes near Kharkiv Region’s Zalyman; Donetsk Region’s Dmytrivka, Bohorodychne, Zaitseve, Kodema, Soledar, Yakovlivka and Krasnohorivka; Zaporizhzhia Region’s Dorozhnianka.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged.
In the Siverskyi direction, Russian troops shelled the border areas of Chernihiv Region and Sumy Region.
In other directions, the enemy used the available weapons to open fire on military and civil infrastructure facilities.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian invaders opened fire on such settlements as Udy, Odnorobivka, Sosnivka, Dementiivka, Nove, Pytomnyk, Borshchova, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Petrivka, Momotove, Bairak, Slobozhanske, Husarivka, Mospanove and Chepil.
In the Sloviansk direction, Russian occupiers shelled Krasnopillia, Virnopillia, Dibrivne and Bohorodychne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, such settlements as Donetske, Piskunivka, Kryva Luka, Siversk and Spirne came under enemy fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops opened fire on Mykolaivka, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Kodema, Zaitseve and Maiorsk.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy struck Oleksandrivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka and Marinka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian invaders shelled Vilne Pole, Vremivka, Novomykhailivka and Kermenchyk.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian occupiers opened fire on Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Huliaipole, Chervone and Kamianske.
In the Southern Bug direction, Russian troops are focusing efforts to hold the previously captured frontiers and continue opening fire on Kvitneve, Shevchenkove, Liubomyrivka, Novohryhorivka, Posad Pokrovske, Ukrainka, Prybuzke, Lymany, Lupareve, Myrne, Oleksandrivka and Tavriiske.
According to the available data, the command of the military units of Russia’s 1st Army Corps is taking measures to forcibly transfer conscripts to a contract, preventing them from being dismissed from military service for three years. In addition, one-time payments for signing such contracts do not apply to this category, which significantly reduces the morale and psychological condition of personnel.
Ukrainian forces continue to conduct a defensive operation, maintain the defined boundaries and prevent Russian invaders from advancing deep into the territory of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attempts to conduct offensive operations near Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, Pokrovske, Bakhmutske, Lozove, Spartak, Soledar, Zaitseve and Semihiria. In the Kramatorsk direction, the Ukrainian military had tactical success and knocked the enemy out of their positions.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to repel enemy missile and air attacks, and effectively covers Ukraine’s critical facilities.
Over the past day, in order to provide support for the ground forces, Ukraine’s aviation launched more than 15 strikes aimed at enemy troops, military and special equipment, as well as other military objects.
The missile and artillery units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to provide fire support for the ground units.
According to the updated data, as a result of Ukraine’s successful fire attack on Kharkiv Region’s Kupiansk, Russian occupiers lost over 100 troops killed and wounded, and two combat vehicles were destroyed.
In Kherson, over 30 Russian invaders and three enemy tanks were hit. Near Antonivka Bridge and the crossing, Russia’s air defense system and six trucks were destroyed.
The successful actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces disrupted the enemy’s crossings near Kherson and prevented the aggressor’s attempts to resume the transfer of troops across the Dnieper.
