Ukraine's Air Force destroys Russian Ka-52 helicopter, five missiles on Sept 6
Ukraine's Air Force early on September 6 destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter and five out of the six missiles that Russian forces fired at Ukraine from the north of the Caspian Sea.
According to Ukrinform, Yurii Ihnat, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said this during a nationwide telethon.
"The anti-aircraft rocket troops of the Air Force shot down another Ka-52 helicopter of the occupiers. We also have another good result - we shot down five of the six Kh-101 missiles that the occupiers fired this morning, when an air raid alert sounded across the country, from Tu-95 aircraft from the north of the Caspian Sea," he said.
Asked whether the enemy is currently flying into the territory controlled by Ukraine, Ihnat said, "When they fly [into government-controlled area], they are destroyed."
According to Ihnat, enemy drones, helicopters and Su-30, Su-34, Su-35 aircraft are becoming targets for the Ukrainian Air Force and they are being destroyed on the front line.
