Kharkiv, Zmiiv struck with Russian missiles fired from S-300 systems
Ukrainian law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings regarding Russia’s missile attacks on such cities as Kharkiv and Zmiiv, which took place on September 7, 2022.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the investigative data, around 00:30 a.m., September 7, 2022, Russian invaders launched two missile strikes on Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi District.
“One of missiles hit a hotel complex. A fire broke out at a car wash located nearby. Windows were broken in the neighboring apartment block. The other missile hit the ground near one of enterprises in that district,” the report states.
In addition, Russian troops continue to open fire on Kharkiv Region. Around 00:30 a.m., September 7, 2022, they launched a missile strike on the city of Zmiiv. The enemy projectile hit the ground near a health facility.
According to the preliminary data, the Russian military used the S-300 systems to fire missiles at Kharkiv Region from Russia’s Belgorod Region.
A reminder that last night Russian troops launched two missile strikes on Kharkiv and one on Zmiiv, which is situated in Chuhuiv District, Kharkiv Region. No casualties were reported.
