Russian military death toll in Ukraine war rises to 51,900

Ukraine's Armed Forces eliminated about 51,900 Russian soldiers between February 24 and September 9, including 650 on September 8 alone.

The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

Also, Ukraine's defenders destroyed 2,122 (+10) enemy tanks, 4,575 (+18) armored fighting vehicles, 1,237 (+11) artillery systems, 306 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems, 159 (+0) air defense systems, 239 (+0) warplanes, 2111 (+1) helicopters, 888 (+4) operational-tactical UAVs, 214 (+0) cruise missiles, 15 (+0) warships / cutters, 3,399 (+55) trucks and tankers, and 114 (+4) pieces of specialized equipment.

Over the past day, the enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, the report said.
