Russian forces launch air strike on hospital in Sumy region

The Russian forces launched an airstrike on the hospital of the Velyka Pysarivka community in Sumy region, destroying its building.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"An Airstrike on the hospital of the Velyka Pysarivka community. Russians continue to cynically shell civilian infrastructure,” he wrote.

According to him, today after 9 o'clock in the morning, Russian enemy aircraft, without crossing the border of Ukraine, fired at the hospital. The building was destroyed. People have been injured, Zhyvytskyi added.

Earlier, on the morning of September 10, regional governor Dmytro Zhyvytskyi reported shelling in two communities of Sumy region, including Velyka Pysarivka.  He also called on people not to leave their bomb shelters.
