Ukraine, Poland to build hub for military equipment repairs
Ukraine and Poland agreed on the construction of a hub for repairing military equipment and conducting exercises with international partners.
"We’ve also talked today about the organization of a special hub that would serve for repairing military equipment, training with our German, Dutch, and Ukrainian partners. We will build such a hub where Polish companies will repair military equipment, will earn from it so that everyone in this cooperation is expedient," Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said at a joint briefing with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Latvia Egils Levits in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The parties also discussed the issue of rebuilding some public institutions in which Polish companies will be able to participate, Morawiecki noted.
As reported, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Poland has provided significant military and humanitarian support and is a major logistical hub for Ukraine.
