Two civilians killed in Donetsk region in past day
Two civilians were killed and five more were wounded in Russian shelling of Donetsk region on September 9.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
"On September 9, Russians killed two civilians in Donetsk region: in Bakhmut and Yahidne. Five more people were wounded,” he wrote.
Overall, a total of 821 civilians have been killed and 2,053 injured in Donetsk region since the full-scale invasion.
The regional governor noted that it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Kyrylenko also emphasized that every war criminal will be brought to justice.
