Ukrainian forces down Russian Su-24 aircraft in Kherson region

Ukraine's Armed Forces have shot down an enemy Su-24 attack aircraft over the Kherson region.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's Air Command South said this in a Facebook post.

"On September 13, at around 16:00, in the sky over the Kherson region, soldiers of the Odesa anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Air Command South shot down a Russian Su-24 bomber," the report said.

Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Marchenko earlier said that as of September 12, Ukrainian forces have advanced 12 kilometers into Russian-held territory in southern Ukraine and liberated 13 settlements in the region from Russian invaders.
