Ukraine’s Air Force destroys Russian Ka-52 helicopter, five UAVs
Ukraine’s Air Force units have destroyed five enemy operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and one Ka-52 helicopter over the past day.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On September 17, 2022, across different directions, the air defense missile units of the Air Force destroyed five operational-tactical level UAVs and one Ka-52 helicopter,” the report states.
Ukraine’s bombers, fighter and assault aircraft launched about 10 air strikes on Russian occupation troops. As a result, enemy personnel and military equipment clusters, field ammunition depots and air defense systems were struck.
A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and September 18, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 54,480 troops.
