One civilian killed as Russian forces shell two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region

The Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk region came under enemy attacks again. One person was killed, civil infrastructure was damaged.

Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"At around midnight, the Russians shelled Nikopol with Grad MLRS. They fired 20 shells at the central neighborhoods. They killed a 35-year-old man," he wrote.

In the city, a 17-storey residential building and private houses, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged. The streets are coveted with rubble and fragments of ammunition.

According to the regional administration, Russian missiles also hit two hospitals, a school, a football field, a local history museum, administrative buildings, several shops and a market. The shelling also damaged the memorial steles on the Alley of Memory.

As a result of the attack, four fires broke out in commercial stalls and garages. Firefighters have already put out the fire.
