Russian forces strike Nikopol district with Grad MLRS
The Russian forces launched five strikes on the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Valentyn Reznichenko, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy fired more than 170 shells from Grad MLRS and barrel artillery at three communities of the Nikopol district - Chervonohryhorivka, Nikopol and Marhanets. According to preliminary information, no casualties have been reported,” he wrote.
In Nikopol, residential houses and a power substation were damaged. More than 3,200 families were left without power supply.
In Marhanets, power lines were also damaged. Almost 3,000 families remain without power supply.
In the Chervonohryhorivka community, the Russian force left up to 500 people without electricity. Enemy shells damaged private houses, shops, a kindergarten, a dispensary, cars, a pharmacy, a club, a stadium, and a gas station. Power engineers are already working on the sites.
In other districts of the region, no emergency situations were recorded last night. The situation is calm now.
