130 Russian shells slam into Nikopol district at night

The Russian troops fired 130 MLRS and heavy artillery shells at Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region during the night.

"The Russians were firing rocket launchers and heavy artillery at Nikopol district all night long... They hit four communities – Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrove – nine times. Almost 130 Russian shells slammed into our towns and villages!" Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, posted on Telegram.

No casualties have been reported so far.

"Nikopol was hit three times. In the town, almost 40 houses, more than 20 commercial buildings, cars, 30 solar panels, a transformer substation, and power lines were damaged. Homes of almost 3,000 families have been left without electricity again. Energy workers are already working," Reznichenko noted.

Territories are currently being inspected in Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka, and Myrove communities. The destruction scale is being assessed.
