Nikopol district struck with Grad MLRS, heavy artillery
Russian troops have opened fire on the Dnipropetrovsk region’s two districts, Nikopol and Synelnykove.
The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The Nikopol district was struck with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and heavy artillery five times. The city of Nikopol suffered the most. Over 30 Russian projectiles hit there. People remained unharmed,” Reznichenko wrote.
Detached houses, household buildings, café and hotel premises were seriously damaged in Nikopol. Over 1,000 households were left without electricity. Power engineers are now conducting repair works.
In the Marhanets community and the Chervonohryhorivka community, there were no casualties.
“In the Synelnykove district’s Velykomykhailivka community, people remained unharmed. The scale of destructions is yet to be checked,” Reznichenko added.
In the rest of the Dnipropetrovsk region’s districts, it was calm last night.
