Three civilians injured in enemy shelling of Kharkiv region
Three people have been injured and hospitalized due to enemy shelling of Kharkiv region in the past 24 hours.
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“During the past day, the Russian occupiers continued shelling settlements of Kharkiv region, which are located not far from the state border with the Russian Federation and the contact line. According to the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid, a 75-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man with injuries were hospitalized in the Chuhuiv district. A 59-year-old injured woman was hospitalized in the Kupiansk district," Syniehubov wrote.
According to him, Russian forces shelled areas near Hraniv, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk and Bilyi Kolodiaz settlements.
The governor added that on the contact line, Russian invaders attempted an offensive in the area of Strilecha, Kharkiv district. After being confronted with Ukrainian fire, the enemy retreated with losses.
Syniehubov also noted that mine clearance is underway in the region. Thus, over the past day, demining units of the State Emergency Service have neutralized 408 explosive devices.
As reported, the enemy shelled 27 settlements in Ukraine in the past 24 hours.
