Russian military death toll in Ukraine climbs to 61,330
The Armed Forces of Ukraine killed about 61,330 Russian soldiers between February 24 and October 6, including 330 in the past day alone.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post, according to Ukrinform.
Over the period, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 2,449 Russian tanks (including 14 tanks on October 5), 5,064 (+26) armored fighting vehicles, 1,424 (+10) artillery systems, 344 (+3) multiple rocket launchers, 177 (+0) air defense systems, 266 (+0) warplanes, 232 (+0) helicopters, 1,047 (+15) operational and tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, 246 (+0) cruise missiles, 15 (+0) warships/cutters, 3,854 (+13) trucks and tankers, and 134 (+2) pieces of specialized equipment.
The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the past 24 hours in the Kramatorsk, Avdiivka and Kryvyi Rih directions, the General Staff said.
