Russian forces fired heavy artillery at the de-occupied and front-line villages of the Beryslav district in the Kherson region, killing civilians.
That's according to the Kherson regional police, Ukrinform reports.
"In the past 24 hours, the Russians shelled the de-occupied and front-line villages of the Beryslav district with heavy artillery," the report said.
According to the police, there are casualties among civilians who were in the yards near their own homes at the time of the shelling. Private houses and power lines were damaged. Some houses caught fire.
Where possible, police survey the area and document the effects of enemy attacks.
