Russia launches missile strikes on Lviv region
Russia has launched missile strikes on critical infrastructure in Lviv and the Lviv region.
According to Ukrinform, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said this in a Telegram post.
"Missile attack on a critical infrastructure facility in Lviv. Part of the city is again blacked out," Sadovyi wrote.
Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv regional military administration, wrote on Telegram that an energy facility in the Lviv region had been hit.
"Lviv and the Lviv region: power outages are possible. After the air raid alert is over, we will involve all services to promptly restore the operations of the power grid. Stay in shelter, the threat is still ongoing," Kozytskyi said.
Early on October 10, Russian troops carried out a massive missile attack against towns and cities in Ukraine.
In Lviv, an explosion was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility. Part of the city was left without electricity and hot water supply.
