Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense units destroy 32 enemy air targets – General Staff
Ukraine’s Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near six settlements today. In addition, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units destroyed 32 Russian air targets across different directions.
The relevant statement was made on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00 p.m., October 11, 2022, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Without achieving success, the enemy continues to launch missile strikes and use unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) in order to hit critical infrastructure and residential areas in Ukrainian cities,” the report states.
Today Russian troops have again launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. They fired about 30 cruise missiles. In addition, the enemy launched seven air strikes and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) about 25 times.
Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense units destroyed 21 Russian cruise missiles and 11 UAVs across different directions.
Russia’s massive missile attack caused damage to infrastructure in more than 10 settlements in such regions as Lviv, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk.
Last night Russian invaders used eight Iranian-manufactured UCAVs, making attempts to cause damage to the Mykolaiv region’s critical infrastructure. All the UCAVs launched by the enemy were destroyed by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged.

“Mobilization and the shifting of reserves do not allow the enemy to break the resistance of Ukrainian defenders. Meanwhile, riots among the mobilized continue in Russia,” the General Staff noted.
