Rescuers extinguish fire caused by enemy suicide drones in Kyiv region
This morning enemy suicide drones have attacked an infrastructure object in the Kyiv region, causing a fire. Rescuers have already completed firefighting operations.
The relevant statement was made by Kyiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleksii Kuleba on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Kuleba, Russians attacked the Kyiv region around 05:00 a.m., October 13, 2022. Enemy suicide drones struck an infrastructure object three times. As a result, a fire broke out.
“No casualties were reported. As of 06:45 a.m., the fire was localized, and there was no open flame. Forty-three professionals and 12 equipment units of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were involved in firefighting operations,” Kuleba noted.
A reminder that, according to the consolidated data from regional military administrations, this morning Russian troops have used suicide drones to attack a critical infrastructure facility in the Kyiv region’s Makariv community.
