Zaluzhnyi: We dispelled myth of Russian army’s invincibility, and now we bring back what is ours
Ukrainians have withstood a powerful enemy blow, dispelled the myth of the Russian army’s invincibility, and are now bringing back what is theirs and moving forward.
The relevant statement was made by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi on Facebook, as he congratulated the Ukrainian military on Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Winter 2022 is already part of world history. We withstood a powerful enemy blow. We showed what it means to be Ukrainian, to have the courage to fight for our freedom. In fierce battles, under the steel rain of Russian projectiles, we were holding on to each piece of our land. We have stopped the enemy onslaught and dispelled the myth of the Russian army’s invincibility,” Zaluzhnyi stressed.
In his words, no one and nothing will stop the victorious progress of the Ukrainian Army.
“Now we are bringing back what is ours. No one and nothing will stop us. We have chosen the path of warriors and are moving forward. The whole world is looking at us enthusiastically and with hope,” Zaluzhnyi added.
A reminder that, on October 14, Ukraine marks its Day of Defenders and Defendresses and Day of Ukrainian Cossacks.
