Fifteen bodies recovered from under rubble of house destroyed in Zaporizhzhia
Fifteen civilian bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of a 9-storey apartment block, which was struck with a Russian missile on October 9, 2022. Six more people are listed as missing.
The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in the Zaporizhzhia region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As a result of the missile terror against a civilian object, a total of 15 people were killed, 11 rescued and six are now listed as missing,” the report states.
Rescuers continue working at the scene. About 200 tonnes of the debris of construction structures have already been dismantled.
A reminder that, on the night of October 9, 2022, Russian missiles struck an apartment block and the detached house suburbs in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Earlier, a total of 12 civilians were reported killed.
