Last night Russian troops opened fire on the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 30 times. Six civilians were reported injured, and two of them were taken to hospital.

The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the city was struck with cannon artillery 30 times, and about 50 projectiles were fired from the Grad MLRS. Six civilians were injured, and two of them taken to hospital,” Tymoshenko wrote.

Enemy projectiles destroyed a boiler facility in a local cultural hall and caused damage to a lyceum, café, store, industrial enterprises and Ukrposhta’s postal office.

In addition, Russian troops struck three 9-storey apartment blocks and 21 detached houses. Five power transmission lines and many other objects were reported damaged.
