Zelensky shows consequences of kamikaze drone attack on Kyiv
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is convinced that Russia will not be able to break the Ukrainians despite terrorizing the civilian population with kamikaze drones and missiles.
He said this on Telegram, commenting on night and morning air attacks on Ukrainian cities, Ukrinform reports.
The head of state also published a video of the consequences of a drone hitting a residential building in Kyiv.
"All night and all morning, the enemy terrorizes the civilian population. Kamikaze drones and missiles are attacking all of Ukraine. A residential building was hit in Kyiv. The enemy can attack our cities, but it won't be able to break us. The occupiers will get only fair punishment and condemnation of future generations. And we will get victory," Zelensky said.
Ukraine's First Lady, Olena Zelenska, in turn, wrote on Twitter that Russia is using kamikaze drones against the Ukrainian civilian population and critical infrastructure, but Ukraine cannot be intimidated with hysterical terror.
"Russia started a week with massive attack on Kyiv downtown and a number of regions. Kamikaze drones targeting against civilians and critical infrastructure. Our people must hide from the explosions. Ukraine cannot be intimidated with hysterical terror. We will resist, we will rebuild," the first lady sai.
Four kamikaze drone strikes were recorded in Kyiv on Monday morning, with one drone hitting a residential building.
