Invaders shell Sumy region’s community, killing two people
The Russian troops again shelled the border area of Sumy region, killed two people and injuring one more.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, wrote this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Russian terrorists continue shelling Ukraine’s border areas. Just a couple of hours has passed since the shelling ended. The Yunakivka community of the Sumy district came under attack. 14 strikes were recorded," he wrote.
According to Tymoshenko, the Russians opened fire at the center of the village and its surroundings. The deputy head of the President’s Office informed that as a result of the shelling, 2 were killed and another one was injured.
He also noted that a store and surrounding buildings were damaged.
