Chernihiv ready for defending region from another invasion

In Chernihiv region, Ukraine’s troops are prepared for a possible attempt by the enemy forces to invade again.

This was stated by the chief of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, who addressed the issue on the air of the national telethon, Ukrinform reports

"Since April, since Chernihiv region has been liberated from the Russian invaders, we have worked non-stop to strengthen our border and boost our region’s readiness for defense in general. Now I can say that we are ready for any developments," said the top regional official.

In Chernihiv region, Russian troops have left behind more than 8,000 buildings damaged or fully destroyed. Over 90% of the affected property is housing stock. 33 bridges and overpasses have been destroyed. More than 1,100 km of motorways have been damaged.
