Russian forces kill three more residents in Donetsk region

Three civilians were killed and ten more were injured in Russian shelling of Donetsk region on October 21.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"On October 21, Russians killed three civilians in Donetsk region – in Bakhmut. Ten more people were injured,” he wrote.

Overall, 1,073 civilians have been killed and 2,451 injured in Donetsk region since the full-scale invasion started.

The regional governor noted that it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

As reported by Ukrinform, Donetsk region is under constant shelling by Russian troops. Until February 24, 1,670,000 people permanently lived in Donetsk region. Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, more than 1.2 million people have left the region.
