Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter downed in Kherson region

In Kherson region on Saturday, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shot down a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter.

That’s according to Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"On October 22, around 12:00, in the Berislav district of Kherson region, a unit of the Odesa anti-aircraft missile brigade of Air Command South shot down a Ka-52 attack helicopter flown by the occupiers," the statement reads.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, overnight Saturday, October 22, air defense forces shot down 11 kamikaze drones over Ukraine: ten over Mykolaiv region and another one – over Kirovohrad region.
