One more Russian Ka-52 helicopter downed in southern Ukraine

The Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners have destroyed Russia’s second Ka-52 attack helicopter in southern Ukraine over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Around 04:00 p.m., October 22, 2022, the air defense missile unit of the Center Air Command destroyed one more Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter in the southern direction,” the report states.

A reminder that, around 12:00 (noon), October 22, 2022, the South Air Command’s Odesa Air Defense Missile Brigade shot down Russia’s Ka-52 attack helicopter in the Kherson region’s Beryslav district.
