Seventeen enemy vessels remain combat ready in Black Sea, Sea of Azov, Mediterranean Sea
Seventeen Russian warships and boats, including Kalibr-type cruise missile carriers, are remaining combat ready in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Mediterranean Sea.
The relevant statement was made by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As of October 23, 2022, two Kalibr-type cruise missile carriers with a total volley of 24 missiles were remaining ready to launch missile strikes on Ukraine in the Black Sea. In the Sea of Azov, the enemy continues to control maritime communications, keeping up to two ships and boats combat ready. In the Mediterranean Sea, there are 13 enemy vessels, including five Kalibr-type cruise missile carriers with a total volley of 76 missiles,” the report states.
Over the past day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch-Yenikale Canal has been carried out as follows: 33 vessels sailed into the Black Sea, and five of them went towards the Bosphorus Strait; 49 vessels sailed into the Sea of Azov, including 10 vessels from the Bosphorus Strait.
